If you’re craving authentic Italian cuisine, Otto Pizza should be on your list! With three outlets in Penang, we recently visited their Georgetown branch at Lebuh Victoria.
Known for their wood-fired pizzas and hearty Italian dishes, Otto Pizza has just rolled out a new menu, and we couldn’t resist diving in. Here’s a taste of what we had:
Specials That Steal the Show
Spicy Hot Wings (Antipasto)
These fried chicken wings, slathered in a homemade hot chili sauce, pack a punch! Perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, they’re an ideal starter for spice lovers.
Lobster Squid Ink Spaghetti (Primo)
A dish that screams indulgence! The squid ink pasta, paired with half a lobster, offers a rich and briny flavor. The presentation alone is worth snapping a photo, but the taste? Even better.
Lamb Rack (Secondo)
Three succulent lamb chops served with sweet potato fries. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection, with a slight char that added a smoky flavor. The sweet potato fries provided a delightful contrast with their subtle sweetness.
Chocolate Mousse (Dolce)
Creamy, decadent, and topped with crunchy biscotti biscuits—this dessert was a perfect end to our meal. It’s a chocolate lover’s dream!
We didn’t stop at the specials. Here’s what else we tried:
Icarus Pizza
Shaped like the sun, this pizza is not only visually stunning but also packed with flavor. The gorgonzola-stuffed crusts were a standout, while the combination of tomato sauce, mozzarella, truffle pâté, and egg made every bite a treat.
Rocket Salad
A refreshing mix of green apple, walnuts, cherry tomatoes, and smoked provola, all lightly dressed with lemon olive oil. It’s the perfect palate cleanser amidst all the rich dishes.
Seafood Stew
This tomato-based stew came loaded with two XL tiger prawns and a medley of seafood. The broth was robust and comforting, making it a great choice for seafood lovers.
