The Mini Truffle Mushroom Quiche, with its earthy truffle and mushroom goodness, was a delightful savory pastry you’ll want more of. Meanwhile, the Smoked Salmon Canapé added a touch of sophistication and freshness to the high tea set, elevating the entire experience. And we can’t forget the Sourdough Bread served with two delectable butters – truffle butter and idako butter – an absolute delight for the palate.

Now, let’s move on to the sweets – the true stars of any Penang high tea affair! The Chocolate Bon Bon melted in our mouths, offering a pure and satisfying chocolate experience.

The macarons were a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds, with their vibrant colors and diverse flavors. The Strawberry Mille Feuille, with its delicate layers of pastry and luscious cream, was a true testament to the art of pastry-making. And the Paris-Brest Choux, filled with its light praline cream, was a delightful French pastry that won our hearts.

Yet, the highlight of the Penang high tea set was undeniably the Mini Cakes – adorably crafted into super cute animal shapes, making them the perfect addition to any Instagram-worthy Penang high tea spread.

Each mini cake boasted its own unique flavor profile, from the refreshing and tangy Lychee Lime Cake to the rich and indulgent 70% Dark Chocolate Cake, catering to every discerning palate. The Sated Caramel Cake, a caramel lover’s dream, was heavenly, and the Mixed Berries Cheese Cake offered the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Last but certainly not least, the Mango Yoghurt Cake provided a refreshing and delightful conclusion to our sweet adventure.

Apart from their delightful high tea set, we couldn’t resist trying some of Biscotti Cafe’s super cute small cakes, and they did not disappoint! These charming creations added an extra touch of whimsy to our Penang high tea experience.

We savored their Mango Cakes, each one bursting with the sweet and tropical goodness of ripe mangoes. The Tiramisu, adorably shaped like the beloved character Totoro, was a delightful take on the classic Italian dessert. As if that wasn’t cute enough, the Toffee Nuts Latte Cake in the shape of a bear won us over with its nutty richness and a hint of coffee flavor.

The Salted Caramel Cake, shaped like a cow, was a true delight for caramel enthusiasts like us, with its perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness. The Mixed Berries Cheesecake, adorned with a duck shape, was a refreshing and tangy treat that perfectly complemented the other flavors on the table.

And let’s not forget the Matcha Pistachio Cake in the shape of a dinosaur, which combined the earthy notes of matcha and the nutty goodness of pistachios for a truly delightful experience.

To wash down all these delectable treats, Biscotti Cafe offers an impressive selection of beverages. From aromatic coffee to non-coffee options and refreshing soda series, there’s something for everyone. We decided to go for their signature Brainless Coffee – a smooth and creamy milk coffee with a delightful layer of brown sugar on top.
