If you’re a fan of laksa, rojak, nasi lemak, and more, you’re in for a treat. We had the pleasure of visiting this cozy spot recently, and we’re here to share our delightful experience with you.
Laksamana Cafe’s signature Nyonya Asam Laksa is an absolute must-try. This dish is famous for its bold and complex flavors. The sour and tangy noodle soup combines a rich fish broth with an array of spices and garnishes, creating a symphony of tastes that dance on your palate. It’s no wonder it topped our list!
Next up, we tried the Lemak Laksa. If you love the creamy goodness of coconut milk, this dish is for you. The rich broth, infused with deeply aromatic Thai spices, offers a delightful creaminess and a hint of spiciness that leaves you craving more with every spoonful.
For those who enjoy a hearty meal, the Nasi Tomato Ayam Masak Merah is a fantastic choice. The fragrant tomato rice pairs perfectly with the sweet and spicy chicken, all enveloped in the cafe’s in-house tomato sauce. It’s comfort food at its finest!
Ever tried laksa baked rice? Laksamana Cafe takes it up a notch with their Laksa Cheese Baked Rice, featuring mushrooms, broccoli, and crab sticks. The fusion of flavors is both innovative and comforting, making it a unique dish worth trying.
We couldn’t resist the allure of their iced floss bingsu. While Malaysians typically pair laksa with ice kacang, Laksamana Cafe has upgraded the game with bingsu instead. We sampled several flavors:
- Sawadikap Thai Tea Dessert: A refreshing take on the classic Thai tea.
- The Strawberry Patch Iced Floss: Bursting with fresh strawberry goodness.
- Fluffiest Honeydew Ice Floss: Light and refreshing, perfect for a hot day.
- Taiwanese Finest Black Sesame Dessert: Rich and nutty, a must-try for black sesame lovers.
Each bingsu was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced in sweetness. We also tried their Tub Tim Grob, a delightful Thai Red Ruby Dessert, which was the cherry on top of our meal.
The ambiance at Laksamana Cafe is minimalistic and cozy, with a predominantly white decor. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy laksa and other local delights in a comfortable and inviting setting. The authentic flavors and warm atmosphere make it a perfect spot for both solo visits and gatherings with friends.
