If you’re looking for an unforgettable Japanese dining experience by the beach, Natsu Bar & Dining at Ferringhi Walk, Batu Ferringhi, Penang, should be at the top of your list. With its stunning seaside views and consistently delicious food, this spot is a true gem.
Exciting news for all Natsu fans – they’ve just launched a new menu! As expected, the place was buzzing with activity during our visit, but we still managed to try some of their latest creations. We started with the Age Toumorokoshi, a delightful crispy corn fritter dish that’s perfect for sharing – light, flavorful, and satisfying.
Another refreshing starter was the Caesar Iceplant Saranda, a unique take on the classic Caesar salad with a delightful crunch from the iceplant.
We couldn’t visit without ordering our favorite Sushi Pizza. It’s a must-have every time we go, featuring crispy rice as the base topped with fresh, creamy sushi toppings – a true crowd-pleaser!
For sushi lovers, the Aburi Shake Go-Mi Sushi is a melt-in-your-mouth experience with seared salmon that’s bursting with flavor.
For mains, we tried the Kaisen Teppan Mori, a sizzling platter of seafood cooked to perfection, with every bite packed with freshness and savory goodness.
The Tom Yum Spaghetti was a fusion delight, with spicy and tangy tom yum flavors perfectly complementing the al dente spaghetti.
Another standout was the Aburi Engawa To Avocado, a heavenly pairing of buttery seared engawa (flounder fin) and creamy avocado.
Another highlight was the Shashimi Moriawase, a beautifully arranged platter of fresh sashimi that showcases the quality and variety of their seafood.
To accompany our meal, we explored their drink offerings. The newly launched Ocean Coconut Milk was refreshing and creamy, the ultimate beachside sip. The Love Bite, served as 6 shots per tray, was ideal for sharing with friends and getting the party started.
We also enjoyed the Pineapple Mojito, a tropical twist on the classic mojito, and the Passion Fruit Cooler, a fruity and fizzy non-alcoholic option that was oh-so-refreshing.
The food at Natsu Bar & Dining is consistently amazing, and the new menu items exceeded our expectations. The sunset view from the restaurant is breathtaking, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. We were also super impressed by their serving speed – everything arrived quickly, even during peak hours.
If you’re craving Japanese food with a seaside vibe, Natsu Bar & Dining is the place to be. Great food, fast service, and a picture-perfect location – what more could you ask for?
