During our sneak peek visit to Skiff Penang, we had the pleasure of sampling some of their signature dishes, and let me tell you, every bite was like taking a delicious trip to Thailand!
First up, the Tom Yum Goong at Skiff Penang. This classic Thai dish was a flavor explosion with its bold and zesty notes. The fresh shrimp paired perfectly with the lemongrass and kaffir lime, creating a vibrant and tangy soup that will leave you craving more.
Next on the menu at Skiff Penang was the Thai Sweet Corn Salad. Imagine sweet, savory, and crisp fresh corn mixed with Thai herbs and chilies, all lightly infused with a hint of coconut. This salad was a burst of freshness and flavor, making it the perfect light and vibrant dish to enjoy at Skiff Penang.
For something a bit more indulgent, we couldn’t resist the Gai Tod (Thai Fried Chicken) at Skiff Penang. This dish was pure crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy on the inside, with a golden, crunchy coating that was packed with addictive Thai spices. It’s the kind of dish that’s impossible to stop eating, and Skiff Penang has nailed it.
If you’re after something comforting yet packed with flavor, the Boat Noodle Broth at Skiff Penang is a must-try. This clear soup is a healthier option, cooked with no oil and made using big bones and white radish. The result? A hearty broth with deep, spiced flavors that feel like a warm, comforting hug in a bowl—only at Skiff Penang.
For those who love fusion dishes, Skiff Penang offers a delightful surprise with their Green Curry Croissant Fusion. This homemade croissant was filled with creamy green chicken curry, creating a unique and savory twist on a traditional pastry. To wash it all down, we tried the Thai Milk Tea and the Drink of the Day at Skiff Penang. Both were refreshing, and the perfect complement to the flavorful dishes.
